No, that is bad. You may have used butter knives to chop things and cutting knives for sandwich making. That is bad.

Well, for one thing, it is a horrible way to treat knives that are for cutting. You are going to dull or damage the blade, and I would be amazed if you own a knife sharpener or a whetstone.

Would you use your arrowheads to cut things? Or the string to tie things up?

Butter knives being called knives at all is a travesty, in my opinion.

I mean, you can kill someone with a butter knife, of course, but you just feel so stupid the whole time you're doing it.
