The nightmares are bad. The time spent laying there with my thoughts while I am waiting to fall asleep is worse.

I don't try and fall asleep afterward. I just get up and do something else.

After the nightmares. So I don't have to deal with the brain spiral.

Ah. I meant the brain spiral that happens before I fall asleep at all.
After nightmares I have to move around a bit, too.

I don't really have an answer to before. Hard to avoid that.

Yeah, me either. I can confirm that vodka is a bad answer. Lullabies are actually still pretty good even as an adult, but a bit much to ask for every night. If I come up with anything more permanent as a solution, I will let you know.

Vodka won't work for me. I doubt lullabies would either. Getting close to just asking Barnes to knock me out.

I did not think lullabies would work for me either, it was very surprising.

I don't think Bucky would say yes. If you really do want to be made unconscious, though, I can do that. Or Alexei would probably be willing.

I don't want Alexei to do it. He'd probably try and tell me a story and I'd die of boredom.

That's a fair point. Although maybe it would just put you in a nice boredom coma.

Pass. I am not in the mood for more Red Guardian stories. I've known the guy for like ten minutes and I think I've heard them all.

I hate to admit it, but most of his stories about when I was little are true.

I haven't heard a lot of those. I should ask. Get some stories about you running around with a snotty nose.

I was an adorable, extremely lovable child, and that is the theme of most of his stories, so have fun.

I am feeling remarkably desensitized to being embarrassed by any of those stories today, thankfully.
